I Only run mageia with "without acpi":

when in the boot (Grub) i choise an option of boot and press f3 key, and choise the option "without acpi" i can run mageia normaly (correctly).

thanks. And ,sorry for my english

Can you do the following:

boot with acpi enabled
when it hangs, reboot with acpi disabled

attach /var/log/dmesg.old, /var/log/dmesg and output of dmidecode to this bugreport

Hello :

For problems with hard disk , I Install Mageia, again. The error does not persist.

The message in boot is the same :

I have 2 disk in raid now. and the same hardware. (The other disk is damaged), but previous for the install the system , I found possible solution :

In bios I dissable an options, but I can not remember which was.

Tomorrow, i tomorrow I will search the option. today is very late.

Regards, Norberto

Translation of #4 (Google translate)

Hello, I was conducting tests, activating and deactivating the bios options,
but the problem was not repeated.
I think the problem disappeared.
Thank you very much
Norberto
