First saw this when testing 4.1 isos on this machine. Live ISOs install without error. It's also valid in mga5 alpha1 but using the screenshots etc from previous 4.1 tests below.

Notes I made then..
Install fails in step "Hard drive detection" with 'I cannot read the partition table of device sda' which currently has mga3 installed on it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4147101/mga4.1/DSC02533.JPG

log on f3 shows 'error /proc/partitions does not agree with drakx 3 != 0: /proc/partitions:'

Agreeing to let it erase the partitions it then fails 'ext4 formatting of sda1 failed' alt-f1 shows '/dev/sda1 is apparently in use by the system; will not make a filesystem here!' and some gdk_device_grab errors..

It seems to be referring to sda1 as md126p1 etc as a raid with a hidden partition

The machine at the moment has mga5 alpha1 installed from gnome livedvd 64
When booted into the installed system..

I pretty sure it has been fixed in between Mageia 5 and Mageia 6 release.

Please reopen if this bug still appears in Mageia 6 or later.
