We decided upon a small legal notice last March to be added to the websites. This is a requirement of the French law that Mageia.Org has to follow.

I think a good way to do this would be to add a footer with a link to the legal notice on the wiki. There is already such thing on the homepage of www.mageia.org, but it links to an incomplete draft on the website. This draft should be removed/replaced by the new and simpler one.

Note: update the privacy policy on the wiki so that it's clearer (and notified the council about it).

Regarding this issue, since the privacy policy on the wiki has a somewhat broader scope than what the French law requires as written above, I'd propose to add an intermediate page linked in the footer, e.g. mageia.org/privacy that would have the text shown above.

This page would then also have a link to the broader privacy policy from the wiki. WDYT?

Oh, I'm nut sure how to link reference number from CNIL.
If no reply I'll just mention it.
Like CNIL(reference number 1749459 v 0) instead of CNIL[1].

I'm nut sure about Articles 39[2] too.

Agrrhh, forgot to reference this bug in commit for the new Privacy policy page[0]

Anyway, please check the page[1] for proper language, design and content.

Note that gettext l10n template is not commited yet as someone should confirm this before l10n.

BTW I didn't manage to dive into global footer suggestion yet.
