Description igor ivanov 2014-06-17 18:42:34 CEST
I've just installed the package: kbreakout-4.11.4-1.mga4.x86_64.
When attempting to open it from the menu, it opens a white windows.
From a terminal:
[toto@mageia4_64~]$kbreakout

Comment 1 Manuel Hiebel 2014-06-17 22:56:20 CEST
is lib64kdegames-corebindings installed ?

Source RPM: (none) => kbreakout

Comment 2 igor ivanov 2014-06-17 23:03:35 CEST
Surely not, because:
[root@mageia4_64 toto]# urpmi lib64kdegames-corebindings
Pas de paquetage nommé lib64kdegames-corebindings

english translation: lib64kdegames-corebindings package doesn't exist
Comment 3 Manuel Hiebel 2014-06-17 23:12:58 CEST
Sorry it's without the 64: libkdegames-corebindings
Comment 4 igor ivanov 2014-06-18 00:04:16 CEST
Thank you very much, it fine works now; but I don't understand why when installing the package kbreakout, libkdegames-corebindings wasn't proposed to be installed as dependance too. (sorry for the english syntax)
Comment 5 Manuel Hiebel 2014-06-18 01:41:19 CEST
Certainly a missing required package.

kbreakout 4.12.5 (included in upcoming KDE update for mga4) requires libkdegames-corebindings.

Requires added today in kbreakout 4.14.0 in Cauldron.

already posted by Manuel Hibel on 2014-06-17 23:12:58 CEST (see above)
kbreakout-4.11.4-1.mga4 works, but not fine: it has erractic behavior, regards to mageia3 version of kbreakout (ball trajectory doesn't obey to usual physical laws of mechanics, for example, and so on)
Comment 9 Luc Menut 2014-10-29 13:28:45 CET
Fixed in KDE 4.12.5
