Description Tony Blackwell 2014-06-13 05:18:11 CEST
Description of problem:Classical DVD x86_64 4.1 as at 13June installed just fine on this older acer extenza 5620Z with pentium dual T2370 processor and integral mobile GM965/GL960 graphics. Of note however is that the SynPS/2 synaptics touchpad does not support mouse taps under either Cinnamon or Mate or Gnome. Both xfce4 and KDE4 support tapping normally.

It is correctly set in config ?
Comment 2 Frank Griffin 2014-06-14 17:22:50 CEST
I think the point is that GNOME (at least) doesn't have it turned on by default, which I can confirm. Since the other two re GNOME derivatives, they are probably inheriting this behavior.

Problem remains as at M5 RC
Can we turn on this behaviour for the M5 release?

actually this is a duplicate in fact, and according to https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3780#c10 it's a upstream preference

and you should had used 'enabled' instead of supported
