bert.mooreii Please, next time be concise and go straight to the point. Thanks. Also, add more details, screenshot, logs (/root/drakx/report.bug for ex.) , or anything else so we can start somewhere. Keywords:

NEEDINFO (In reply to Bert Moore from comment #0) > the Mageia 4 Release Notes gives me the impression that the DVD > install or upgrade options were never tested. They were extensively tested, but we can always use more testers: there are so many possible set-ups of a system, there are so many possible combinations of hardware and software: impossible to test them all. You might want to consider joining our QA team https://wiki.mageia.org/en/QA_Team to help test new isos. https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Pre-release_ISO_testing That increases the chance that upgrade or install problems you have get solved before release. Currently, the Mageia 4.1 isos are being tested and there'll be a new version of the x86_64 pre-4.1 iso available soon. CC:

marja11 (In reply to Marja van Waes from comment #2) > pre-4.1 iso I mean the 4.1 iso for QA to test, it gets improved until it is good enough to be released Sorry but the report does not concisely say what is the problem at issue. And the requested info was never provided since 17 months. Therefor, we have to close the report as OLD. Thanks for your interest. Status:
