Description of problem:
After updating today mageia I ended with no background.
default.jpg in /usr/share/mga/backgrounds is pointing to noexisting file.

Reopening this is different from bug 1295.

Looks like the cause of this bug, is that the OP doesn't have have an /etc/X11/xorg.conf, so the commands run by the switch-theme script can't guess/detect his resolution and so the symlink never gets created/updated.
