Description of problem:

How reproducible:  Normal operation.


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Mageia
2.

To fix this I have to open a terminal and type: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface clock-show-date true

I would hope that new versions are completed so this is fixed.

By default the date is not shown. It can be changed either via gsettings or with gnome-tweak-tool. The latter is installed by default. I'm not going to change default settings and a GUI for this is provided with any default installation, so IMO nothing to be done.
