Hello Team Mageia,

Is it possible to package a non-ESR version of Mozilla Firefox ?

Install by default firefox ESR (a RPM named firefox) bus offer the possibility to install an other RPM package named "mozilla-firefox", a non-ESR version ?

Add a feature to forbid the installation of firefox and mozilla-firefox.

There are more and more packagers, i think it's possible :)

Thanks.

more packager doesn't unfortunately mean necessarily more maintainer (and the QA have low resources too)

Component: RPM Packages => New RPM package request

There are a multitude of reasons we use the stable Mozilla releases for stable distro releases, and they don't need to be re-hashed yet again here.

What ? You « use stable Mozilla releases » ?

Firefox 28 (Today, the last version) is stable !!!
