Description of problem:
Trying to install get-skype package fails. Rpmdrake version of installation complains about libpulse.so.0, while command line installation through urpmi gives various errors first about libasound.so(solved by installing libalsa2-devel) and then about libQtXml.so.4 (not solved, lib64qtxml4 is installed and file exists)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.2.0.11

Well, I solved the problem by enabling 32 bit repositories.
Maybe it shall be documented somewhere?

Status: NEW => RESOLVED

Core 32-bit repos are enabled by default. If you disable them then you should be expecting problems :)

Well there is problem with them too, pidgin-plugins package is not available for i586, but that`s another story :D

You may need to try a different mirror. The package is available:

I used http://www.rpmfind.net/ to install `em.
