Description of problem:when I want to go in a share file in the wondows server2000 I cannot acces ,the control center edit the file on mnt/g as example and adding password and user name  refuse to mount on beta1 ,on beta2 I had worst than that it just cannot find the wondows server . Smb4k is to complicated now to edited . Why a laptop in any win can load the file and not us would you explain me that !!! this problem exisdt since mandriva 2008.1 and been corected on 2010 on the rc2 and came cback to a answer like that this you have to go in the forum ,but strangely I am not the only one who get this stupid problem sorry but it is more than three years that linux 
if I reinstall mdk2008 strange I can look at it . I cannot see why we have to go in fstad to edit by hand pease do something .Thank you in advance .

smb4K has nothing to do with drakxtools, for the package request see bug 1689

And as there was no reply at comment 1 after more than 2 months I close this bug. 

Reopen If you have the *same* issue.

Sorry ,I get extraodinairy problem to log myself under brunob@tr.ca for post your request of infos ,I had to make a new user name each time I was ttrying to connect under my mane ,reset password etc..., it look like a was simply rejected . So finally 
I make a new user name . 
 I was using drakxtools , By using control center , going on finding server , adding my admiistrator name, password for the windows server , it refuse to mount the share file by mentionning fail to mount ( échec pour monter partition ),after asking would you like to save to fstab yes or no !
