Description of problem:
Soundcard does not keep it's output settings

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Current mga4

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.set the soundcard to port Line Out (Unplugged Output)
2.Listen to You Tube. 
3.Reboot
4. The Setting is back to Port Headphones (Unplugged)

I am using PulseAudio Volume Control from the main menu, Sound & Video Control
Then change in Tab Output Devices
Port: Headphones (unplugged) to Port: Line Out (Unplugged)

I then get the tone, but after a reboot, the setting is back to:

I think my problem is different. My problem is, the settings get reset every time the PC reboots.

This bug is still present in mga5. It seems to be an upstream bug.

This bug has probably been solved in latest pulseaudio and unfortunately we can't ask the original reporter if the bug is still reproducible.
