Description of problem:

After two reinstalls, errors traceable to DKMS have occurred.
(1) Bug# 1242 (Virtualbox):  I reinstalled after that bug cleared itself.  Then running the VirtualBox command in a terminal, it said that it couldn't find the module.  I had already run /etc/init.d/virtualbox.  Removing and rebuilding the dkms module fixed it.  I don't have any guest OS installed, but I am going to rebuild the dkms for guest additions for completeness.
(2) Nvidia driver: Much the same story.  The NV driver refused to install until I rebuilt it.  Running Test in XFdrake failed, and I still had nouveau after a reboot, but I think that it was because of the conflict with nouveau.  Rebooting WITHOUT running Test, the nvidia driver was installed.

This bug is old, and changes in Cauldron were huge. Please re-open it if it is still there.
