Screenshot of konqueror
If the content is "falling" on the left, that means that the script detected an offline mode (yes, surprising, but designed behaviour). If the browser is found to be online, the content stays afloat (or "wakes up") and the browser is redirected to the online page. So the point is, with both kwebkitpart and khtml, what is the behaviour: - when the computer is offline, - when the computer is online? CC:

rdalverny With kwebkitpart online & offline i'm having the « normal behaviour » aka falling on the left With khtml online & offline i'm just able to read the offline tag without any falling on left. (In reply to comment #3) > With kwebkitpart online & offline i'm having the « normal behaviour » aka > falling on the left Even if you are online? > With khtml online & offline i'm just able to read the offline tag without any > falling on left. Expected, khtml does not support CSS3 used rules there. But still, it's offline... :-/ I need to trace what happens there. Yes. @ John Did the problem persist? CC:

rdalverny What's the version of konqueror/khtml used here? (In reply to comment #8) > What's the version of konqueror/khtml used here? Pinging, because nothing has happened with this report for more than 3 months, it still has the status NEW or REOPENED @ John Is the problem still there? If so, can you please reply to the question above? Keywords:

NEEDINFO Konqueror from kde 4.6.5 ( mag 1) & 4.7.4. are affected. I'm not able to test 4.8.1 but I doubt it's fixed since khtml does not receive love :p

(none) What about killing the problem in updating indexhtml so that it redirects directly to start.mageia.org? Thinking about it, there's not much to justify showing an offline page anymore, if the system is offline. Is it? Is it still problematic or fixed with Mageia 2 final? Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja Keywords:
