I have upgraded the xz package in my copy to 5.1.3, and am going to attach the patch against the svn. The patch (of the xz tarball sources) for adding the --text option required some reworking. Everything seems to be in order now.

This is a patch against "magrepo co xz" (
svn+ssh://svn.mageia.org/svn/packages/cauldron/xz/current ) to upgrade xz.

Since "xz" had no maintainer, I assigned myself as maintainer and submitted the package.
