Description of problem:

All the pulldown menus on the main-page of kompozer pop up with an extremely garbled representation and are close to unusable. There is certainly a problem of the transparency of the menu background, but also the text appears multiply overwritten (see annexed screen shots). However, functionality of Kompozer does not seem to be impaired.

The problem is not limited to pulldown menus of the main window: if you open a view on the document source and do a right-click on the text, the pop up menu appears garbled in a similar way.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kompozer on some html file
2. Pull down one of the pulldown menus in the main window - say,the top-left tag-selection menu
3.


I have tried to uninstall kompozer, remove the $HOME/.kompozer.net directory and than re-install kompozer: the problem is still there after re-installation.

both snapshots refer to the pulldown menu for selecting the tag of an item
