Description of problem: I installed Mageia 4 from live GNOME DVD. WindowMaker was installed later. Unfortunatelly, switching workspaces doesn't work neither from shorcuts nor from WMClip.

How reproducible: on a single computer - 3.12.13-desktop586-2.mga4 #1 SMP Sat Feb 22 23:57:07 UTC 2014 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux



Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mageia 4 from Mageia-4-LiveDVD-GNOME-i586-DVD.iso
2. Istall windowmaker pakage.
3. Try to switch worspace.

Hi there,
I cannot reproduce this bug. It works fine for me with either keyboard shortcuts of the wm applet.

Did you check you had actually created an extra-workspace? (just to be sure).
Menu->Workspace->Create

If yes, could you please retest with a freshly created user?

Well, I didn't realize I have to create new workspace first. Up to Mageia 3, several workspaces  were included by default.

No pb, we cleaned some configuration scripts in between and upgraded to new windowmaker. Normally your settings should be conserved, so after logout/login you should not have to recreate any workspace.
