balcaen.john, lmenut This has changed with the latest KDE in cauldron. Briefly closing the lid now works correctly. However, when I leave the lid closed overnight, I frequently (but not always) find that the machine has powered off during the night. The machine is on AC all of the time, and I check the power connection each time I find it powered off, and it's connected, with the AC LED on the laptop lit. No longer occurring. Status:
