- Using PLF packages, which are built for Mandriva is not guaranteed to always work in Mageia - libdvdcss2 is already in the tainted repo in Mageia DVD playback should work, I've just tested with a commercial video DVD, it works in vlc. Try starting vlc from terminal and post the output here. For Dragon (personally, I've given up on it as it's a very minimalistic player), it looks like you're using the phonon-gstreamer backend, you may want to try installing the phonon-vlc package (then switch the backends in systemsettings -> multimedia -> phonon -> backend, you'll need to restart whatever KDE multimedia apps to pick up the changes). MDV PLF packages anen't supported and no reply, so closing as invalid Status:
