Description of problem:
Using Mate in x86_64 system there is no option to shutdown/suspend/etc when logging in or out.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.10.0


How reproducible: always, with Mate and KDE.

Yes kdm has the shutdown option but on my first Mageia 4 install I wanted to use Mate but kdm did not offer it.  I have since come to the conclusion that Mate was not properly installed.  I suspect that the problem will evaporate if I reinstall Mageia 4 and make sure all the Mate packages are selected.  I am using kdm on another Mageia 4 machine and shall try gdm to see if it now marries well with Mate.

Have now tried that, with success.  The problem was that on the laptop there was a battery icon in exactly the place where the shutdown icon appears on a workstation, so no bug.  I assume that the power off symbol will appear in the pulldown menu on a laptop.
