Hi Leon, thanks for your bug report.

I am testing the applet in Mageia 4 and all is ok here. I can not reproduce your bug.

Could you set the "Start delay" in "Update Behaviour" tab for 0?
Comment 2 Leon Goldman 2014-02-09 22:42:56 CET
Thank you. Start delay is set to 0 but I still do not automatically update

Could you inform the Location and Provider service used?

I am using Location: Sao Paulo - Brazil and Provider: accuweather in my tests.

I will see how you can debug this applet.
Comment 4 Leon Goldman 2014-02-18 02:54:19 CET
tried both accuweather and noaa at two locations. No refresh. Location is Lexington, Ma (accuweather) and Bedford, MA (NOAA)

Hi Leon, unfortunately I can not reproduce this bug. I tried it in Mageia 4 and Mageia 3 fresh install. I ask for any tester in Mageia Brazilian forum (http://mageiadobrasil.com.br/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=682) and this guy can not reproduce the bug too.

Please, if you know anyone with this same problem, ask for this person comments here too.

Could you disable the yawp plasmoid, remove the folder ~/.cache/yawp/, and add it again?

Thanks, I will continue the investigation about it.
Comment 6 Leon Goldman 2014-03-04 21:25:40 CET
I tries what you suggested: disabled yawp, removed the folder, and added it again, but it appears to have made no difference.
At this point, given that neither you nor others can reproduce this, I have to assume it is something in my set up and I would not spend more time on trying to find an answer. I can update manually and so that works for now.

Thank you for all your effort.

I am going to close this bug. If anyone wants, this bug can be reopened.
Thanks.
