I'm not sure which package to file this bug on, but if you click on an rpm package in a file listing on a web server (like one of our mirrors) in Firefox, it used to propsed to open it with Software Installer (aka gurpmi).  In Mageia 4, it proposes to open it with ark instead.  I thought this had been reported before, but I could not find the bug.

It was reported in Bug 12640 that if Apper is installed it'll also become the default association for RPM files.  gurpmi should always take precedence over anything else.  I'm not sure what changed between Mageia 3 and Mageia 4 to cause this.

Closing as OLD then, because Mageia 5 has officially reached its End of Life on December 31st, 2017 https://blog.mageia.org/en/2017/11/07/mageia-5-eol-postponed/
It only continued to get important security updates since then, because we are waiting for a big Plasma5 update in Mageia 6, that'll fix many of the Mageia 5 => 6 upgrade issues.
