Description of problem:
These packages are not available in installer menu for selection. They are present on the DVD (Mageia-4-RC-x86_64-DVD.iso)

First you can select them if you:
- choose "Custom install" in "Desktop Selection" step
- check in "Individual package selection" in "Package Group Selection"

Feature:Independently_install_desktop_environments was added then reverted as not mature enough

With new "Package Group Selection" design that uses Expanders and is quite less ugly (no more scrolling bar by default), we could add more desktop check boxes for mga5 (for now only LXDE is missing from meta-task's compsusers.pl)

I don't think we should revive the "Independently install desktop environments" approach, it makes the desktop step too complex & likely to "break" with translations (think scrolling bars).

Anne, Thomas: do you consider adding LXDE at this stage?

BTW, those who added RazorQT & E17 ruined the screen by using the "desktop" word instead of "workstation", making the entries looking inconsistent.

it was removed to workaround bug 11951 http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=565982 but as colin may have a fix, we could add it back

And I would like to add that it would be nice to check all is again right with the World before MGA4 release. Would a network install be a good enough substitute to check the problem is fixed? Or does that use a different set of installation wizardry?
