Colin, might this be related to polkit too?

Comment 2 Jüri Ivask 2014-01-21 14:39:13 CET
If I add an additional Removable media/devices manager applet to the panel, then the new one starts to work - in my case opened the USB stick content in firefox...
Comment 3 Angelo Naselli 2014-01-21 14:43:54 CET
@matteo, if you need help i could make some tests on razor-qt at home tonight

Comment 4 Colin Guthrie 2014-01-21 14:53:25 CET
I don't think this one is polkit related. Could be udisks/udisks2 related tho'. A quick grep over the source suggests udisks2.
Comment 5 Colin Guthrie 2014-01-21 14:55:07 CET
(so I guess a first check is that udisks2 is installed and running (systemctl status udisks2.service) and then if it's not quite that simple, then poke further - I'd presume it's not a bug in udisks itself, but perhaps razor's use of it?)
Comment 6 Jüri Ivask 2014-01-21 15:10:44 CET
udisks2 is here running and started at boot
Comment 7 Jüri Ivask 2014-01-21 15:13:24 CET

Comment 8 Matteo Pasotti 2014-07-05 23:55:43 CEST
RazorQt will be replaced by LxQt starting from Mageia 5 as RazorQt is no longer developed (razorqt devs joined the lxqt project).
Comment 9 Jüri Ivask 2014-07-06 13:13:03 CEST
Thanks Matteo, forgot this bug report.
However the same problem exists also in LXQt-panel...
The bug in its current state is still valid for Mageia 4 - should we just change the version...?

Status: NEW => ASSIGNED

Comment 10 Florian Hubold 2015-09-03 00:16:44 CEST
LXQt is only packaged officially since Mageia 5, can you please re-test? Will probably not be fixed for mga4 as razor-qt is dead.

Would also help if you can run "journalctl -af" as root before plugging in the usb drive, plug it and wait a few seconds until no new ouput appears, and then add the output here.

Could test it in Mageia 4.
Still that message: "No devices are available"
journalctl -af says:

Maybe next week I can test it with Mageia 5 LxQT...

Closing this bug report as razorqt-panel is no longer provided (dead project).
