I thought I had already created a bug for this but couldn't find it so maybe just mentioned on the pad previously.

During installation from Live ISOs it shouldn't remove network firmware/tools which could be needed afterwards.

Currently they remove these, which they probably should not..

if _your_ box don't need them they get removed, I don't see the issue,

You have a bcm or modem that was not working after ?

It's to enable usb wifi & networking kit to be used which isn't necessarily present when installing. I don't think we install them all by default with the classical isos yet but we shouldn't deliberately remove them when using the live isos.
