This is not limited to the text on the gray background. Most text in the white boxes is there, but when checking the imported QIF for matches with existing transactions, the list was blank. If there had been no matches, the window would not have come up at all. Comment 1 is incorrect. The data does show up, but with no text directions, I am having to work from memory to get that far. This bug has survived a complete re-installation at my end. As of today, most of it works. Only one scren shows headings with "Primary Text" and "Secondary Text" but all the instructions and data are visible. There are signs that the layout of the boxes has changed. This will be in the original package from Gnucash.

Triaged This seems to be an upstream bug. It is probably irrelevant to business users, otherwise, it would be enough to make them look elsewhere. Gnucash code has been completely rewritten. I went to customize it for Aussie cheques, and my previous patch is totally irrelevant. Closing it as "Wontfix." Status:
