Description claire robinson 2014-01-10 17:14:32 CET
Classic 4RC dvd 64 test upgrade from mga3

Noticed this previously after a couple of reboots of a fresh install but never created a bug. Now found it again after performing an upgrade from mga3 on first login.

kslideshow.kss (the screensaver) is running in a window upon login to kde.

No obvious other errors on login. I'll attach the journal but a quick scan doesn't show anything obvious.

It occurs almost every time in Mageia 3 when I leave my PC idle for some time so screensaver starts and runs for some significant time (several minutes as a minimum) and than power PC off with power button without 'waking' it or quickly power it off throug KDE menu without doing anything else after 'wake'. On the next powering PC on I see the screensaver run in a window.

Looks like kslideshow.kss is just interpreted as a usual application and saved by KDE to be run on the next login if the option to restore session on login is enabled.
