Description of problem:
It is just a problem of look. The sound control is more integrated, the distrib looks smarter.
Pnmixer displays a small icon in the Notification Zone while Audiomixer displays a big icon in the Control Panel.

Forgot it. For a smartest look of Mageia Xfce, Pnmixer should not only available in the repositories but by default in the Control Panel.

Pnmixer is available in SVN. As Cauldron is freezed, pnmixer can't be submitted before cauldron reopens again after mga4 is released.

About it being the default mixer in Xfce I'll have to test it locally first to see how it works.

I would want to support the request.
At present xfce4-mix still uses gstreamer0.10, because the used api does not exist in gstreamer1.0.
I sink that xfce4-mixer is the only package that asked gstreamer0.10, while practically all other applications passed in 1.0.

Can you make a package testing, because mga4 is freeze?
