tmb I guess it needs to be updated to a newer version again. It'd be nice if we could finally get the packaging issues mentioned in https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7085 addressed so that we can actually issue updates for openafs in the future. We really need someone to step in and help with this. Just to give a work-around, it is possible to compile the openafs kernel module version 1.6.6 on Mageia 4 with the kernel 3.12.9-desktop-1.mga4 (not yet tested with the last kernel). This module apparently works well with the rest of the openafs client Mageia 4 rpms version 1.6.5.1, even if that sort of version mixing is quite dirty ! The openafs kernel 1.6.6 sources were coming from the OpenAFS fedora rpm file http://openafs.org/dl/openafs/1.6.6/fedora-20/x86_64/openafs-kernel-source-1.6.6-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm CC:

damien.neyret I can confirm that the bug persists in Mageia 4 and that version 1.6.6 from openafs.org will fix it. I built a SRPM from the tar ball, which can be found at http://bakunin.xs4all.nl/download/openafs-1.6.6-2.mga4.src.rpm CC:
