Description Maurice Batey 2014-01-04 18:22:15 CET
Description of problem:

After login, Network Centre shows TWO WFi panels:

The 1st WiF panel is a dud - no SSID's shown, and if selected it shows:

  "Broadcom Corporation BCM43225 802.l/b/g/n

Unable to find network interface for selected device.
   (Using bcma driver)"

The 2nd WiFi panel is the genuine one, (now labelled "wl1s0" instead of
the familiar "WLAN"), and correctly showing local SSID's.

These duplicate WiFi panels will confuse newcomers to Mageia...

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

   drakx-net-2.7.1.mga4.src.rpm 28/12/13
How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:

1. New install 32-bit Mageia-4-Beta2 (KDE) on Samsung NC110 netbook
(Broadcom BCM43225 WiFi) -- no explicit driver blacklisting.

2. After login, select Network Centre and see duplicate WiFi panels.
