Description Richard Vajdel 2013-12-31 23:12:15 CET

Description of problem:
 
After installing fglrx- AMD Catalyst 13.12 from default repos via "Mageia software center" and restart of system, AMD Catalyst doesnÂ´t work- canÂ´t run AMD Catalyst- nothing happening.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 4 Beta 2, AMD Catalyst 13.12, AMD HD Radeon 8670 M/ Intel switchable cards.

Going to guess card/hardware sensitivity. Works for me on my three systems.
ATI Radeon HD 5450
AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
AMD Radeon HD 6400M Series

Might not hurt to provide Display and Desktop manager, and theme if possible.
Here you can see I have

$  cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop
DISPLAYMANAGER=kdm
DESKTOP=KDE4
and I running with Oxygen theme with Desktop Effects off launched AMD Catalyst Control Center from the kde task bar menu.

You might try clicking up a terminal and running
  amdcccle
to see if you get any errors.
