FeFew versions of FreeFileSync have been released since its comming in Mageia 3.
My request only concerned the 5.22 version of FreeFileSync, because it comes with bug correction and improvements.

This is the best user-friendly file-sync tool we have nowadays.

At this point we can't update it, cauldron has been on version freeze for months now, so I can't update it to the latest version unless it is a bugfix only release, which I don't think it's the case. For now, the only way to have a recent version in mga 4 will be with the backports repo, if it's ever open (waiting for that for since mga 2).

It's up to you to decide what to do. The changelog is available here : http://freefilesync.sourceforge.net/download.php

There's many improvements and bug correction.
The problem is that the version in the repo seems to be too old compared to the developement speed of this software ... :( (I knew I should have been quicker ...)

It sould be possible to update FreeFileSync to 6.0 in mga4 in backports which recently opened.

Then, an update for Cauldron should be gorgeous ;)
