Description of problem: 
Very often the printer does nt print
It is normaly recognized by the system and the drivers are correctly installed


When i try to print the test page it works fine and the scanner too

I upload the ouput of the dmesg command while i try to turn on again and again the printer untill works


I think that is the same bug that makes me change the printer:

but i have change my computer since 6 months so it is nt a hardware problem.


I have this message very often in dmesg:
usb 3-2: usbfs: interface 2 claimed by usb-storage while 'usb' sets config #1


This problem is a little complicated, i have a difficulty to give you the right elements to solve it, please ask me any information that i have to add.

As you can see in the video, i can print with the lpr command but i cannot from the print menu

I see that there is more users with brother printers that are affected with the problem to not be able to print.

I remarked that from firefox i am able to print too (as the other users)

Based on your coment in the forum, that installinga2ps helped, I've closed this bug as a dup of 1172.
