perl 5.14 would likely be upgraded, like the others packages, once mageia 1 is out. There is no need to open bug report for that... CC:

misc Indeed it's too late for Mageia 1 which is in RC stage. Especially for a core package that impacts quite a lot of core components (installer, package manager, config tools, control center, ...) Status:

Why is this bug marked as WONTFIX?? Because: - it's not a bug - perl will be updated as soon as mageia 1 will be released - so as told, there's no point in opening bug reports for such things - shorter bug lists are easier to read If we had have the LATER resolution, I would have closed as RESOLVED/LATER
