Description Morgan Leijström 2013-12-20 16:04:27 CET
Now on two systems i have had userdrake just vanishing from screen when i hit OK in the user add dialog.

It works most of the time.

I can restart it and finish the work. One time i saw it had set the last user i added to locked, but i did not set that myself.

Any idea what to look for in what log?

Tell me how to retrieve some kind of log, or whatever.
Comment 4 Thierry Vignaud 2013-12-20 19:05:44 CET
You could try to run it from a terminal and see if there's any error message.

Now on fresh install mga4, reused /home, executed mcc from terminal
First there is the usual messages that are OK.
Then when I went to install/remove programs i got 7 lines of of:
"
Use of uninitialized value $value in numeric eq (==) at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1/Gtk3.pm line 545.
 "

Then
"
Impossible to set by_group view as default

 "

Then many
"
Argument "bold" isn't numeric in subroutine entry at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1/Gtk3.pm line 1122.
 "

Above is for drakrpm, it did not seem to affect operation, but is ugly and i do not open a new report as i am lazy and you probably see it too.

Now i went to add/remove user: as usual it starts by redefining main, then same problem as drakrpm:
"
Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1/Gtk3.pm line 296.

(drakuser:8333): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkImage 0x2b63cf0 adjusted size vertical min 47 natural 47 must not decrease below min 48 natural 48

(drakuser:8333): Gtk-WARNING **: GtkImage 0x2b63cf0 attempted to adjust its size allocation from -12,1 780x54 to 0,0 768x55. adjust_size_allocation must keep allocation inside original bounds
"

Here is something: When i change the primary group for a user:
"
(drakuser:9577): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_device_ungrab: assertion 'GDK_IS_DEVICE (device)' failed

(drakuser:9577): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_device_grab_remove: assertion 'GDK_IS_DEVICE (device)' failed

(drakuser:9577): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_device_grab_remove: assertion 'GDK_IS_DEVICE (device)' failed
 "

Still everything seem to work and i have not crashed on me... yet ;)
