Description of problem:
Clicking on tvtime results in program attempting to load but then immediately crashes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Version 1.0.2

How reproducible:Same behavior after repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download tvtime rpm using Mageia Control Center.
2.Attempt to run program.
3.Observe behavior

Try running it from terminal and see if you get any useful info from there.

Ahmad Samir--Thank you for the response. It appears it may be some form of video card issue. I am not sure how to resolve it. Running "tvtime" from terminal, I get the following output:

Running tvtime 1.0.2.

What's the output of:
lspcidrake -v | grep -Ei "display|vga|card"

The command

from root yields

So, try what the error message said, i.e. install the proprietary Nvidia driver from the nonfree repo.

- Open drakx11 -> Graphics Card
- make sure the correct card group is selected, then click OK
- select "yes" when asked if you want to use the proprietary driver for your graphics card

Ahmad Samir--Thank you for showing me this is not a bug but rather a failure on my part to initialize 3D graphics.  Your patience, professionalism and helpfulness were outstanding.  Thank you.  I suppose this can now be considered "CLOSED" as a false report.  My apologies.--falcon40
