Description Florian Bauer 2013-12-15 19:24:34 CET
Description of problem:
in "rpmdrake" the package "xbmc-addon-xvdr" can't be selected.
I get an error that the package makes a conflict with "vdr-plugin-xvdr-0.9.5-0.git20120307.4.mga3.x86_64mga3" which is not installed!
As it's an clean install of MGA4, I think it's a bug...

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xbmc-addon-xvdr-0.9.5-0.git20120307.3.mga4.x86_64

Comment 2 Florian Bauer 2013-12-25 13:09:04 CET
U've downloaded the 2nd rpm and tried to install it in console by "urpmi ./xbmc-addon-xvdr-0.9.8-0.git20131223.1.mga4.x86_64.rpm"
I get an error that a dependency can't be fulfilled:
"vdr-plugin-xvdr-0.9.5-0.git20120307.4.mga3.x86_64 (wegen nicht erfüllter Abhängigkeit von vdr-abi[== 1.7.25_lib64_abi_1] )"

"urpmf lib64_abi" didn't show me something useful...
any idea which package has to be installed?

Hi Florian,
but which release are you use ?
Mga4 or Mga3

i saw that you had vdr-plugin-xvdr-0.9.5-0.git20120307.4.[mga3] msg, so packages in #c1 are only for Mga4 that have vdr 2.0.3.
Comment 4 Florian Bauer 2013-12-26 08:42:49 CET
MGA4 beta 2 atm.
Please take a look into e.g. https://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/release/ and you will find the package vdr-plugin-xvdr-0.9.5-0.git20120307.4.mga3! :-)
(and by the way further >200 packages named mga3 ;-)
Comment 6 Florian Bauer 2013-12-26 13:25:54 CET
that worked - thanks!

I have uploaded updated packageS for Mageia 4.

Suggested advisory:
========================

old vdr-plugin-xvdr work with prev. vdr (1.7.25). This new package builded with vdr on cauldron and can work with vdr > 1.7.34

Hi Armando. The QA team tests things for stable releases (currently only Mageia 3). To push an update for Cauldron righr now, due to the freeze, you need to send a request to the dev@ml.mageia.org mailing list saying what you've fixed and asking for it to be pushed.
