Maybe the installer should use 'ntfs' instead of ntfs-3g, since it's not going to write an ntfs partition, just view it... Component:
Release (media, process) =>
Installer FWIW, the same issue happens with the dual-arch ISO.

thierry.vignaud Wrong package. Indeed the lib is missing from rescue squashfs Anyway, I just fixed it in SVN Status:
NEW =>
RESOLVED When will the fix make it to cauldron? It is already in cauldron... OK, maybe I'm misunderstanding the process of moving the changes to the repo, but I just tried the cauldron image, and the issue persists. The mirror/file I used: http://mageia.unige.ch/mirror/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/install/images/all.img Thanks for taking interest in this! What did you exactly did? What was your error message? The message from the partition management GUI after pressing "view" was "unable to mount". Issuing the same command from the command line from tty with partition setup running was exactly as in the first post. Note that I was using an x86_64 version this time. Thierry, maybe we need to rebuil drakx-installer-stage2 ? Rh, if you have finish the install can you *attach the file: /root/drakx/report.bug.gz If not switch to console 2 (by pressing âCtrl-Alt-F2â) during installation, put a floppy in floppy drive or plug a USB key/stick and type âbugâ then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the floppy/key. Created attachment 846 [details]
in-installation log
I managed to install Mageia, but I didn't touch ntfs. Related - I think that x86_64 all.img from "1" points to "cauldron" stage2 when choosing HTTP sources. |
