Hi,

New version of Minetest 0.48, there are many important bugs fix :
changelog : http://dev.minetest.net/Changelog#0.4.7_.E2.86.92_0.4.8

and probably security :
Fixed server getting completely choked up on even a little of DoS (celeron55)

I know new version are close.

Please test minetest-0.4.8-1.mga4 from updates_testing.
Please do not add new version in SVN without asking maintainer firt (especially during freeze!).

Seems like minetest-0.4.8-1.mga4 disappeared from updates_testing.
And we still provide broken 0.4.7 - it crash on start.

Version 0.4.8 from SVN compile and run fine.

It looks like there is currently no way to find a prebuilt version of the app which works on Mageia 4 :(

Cannot access it for i586 through the install manager after enabling core update testing.

Testing complete Mageia 4 i586.

The package in core/release segfaults because of unmatching irrlicht versions, the update candidate fixes it. I could run minetest both with my intel chipset and with my nvidia GPU (with primus - it does not work my virtualgl for some reason, but that's to be investigated on my side).
