Description of problem:

mcc left panel text is black instead of white in Oxygen theme and
is almost unreadable.

How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. systemsettings->Workspace Appearance->Desktop Theme
2. Select/set Oxygen
3. click up a terminal
4. su - root
5. mcc

MCC left panel never was white.
It's a blue image (see https://wiki.mageia.org/mw-en/images/thumb/9/91/Mageia-2-mcc-software-management.jpg/550px-Mageia-2-mcc-software-management.jpg)
Did you meant the right panel?

He's talking about text color. Can't test myself now but the text on your screenshot seems white too. If it's now black then it's broken :)

Understood, I read too fast :-)

Humm... Since Mga3, we only have switched from usermode to polkit for authentication and have fixed an issue with glib.
So the issue really would be with oxygen-gtk

On second though, what does report "rpm -q drakxtools"?

For the record, when I converted drakxtools from gtk2 to gtk3, I'd to migrate styling to CSS:

I deleted the RC file in the process however, the tools that've not been ported to gtk3 yet now have no RC file to parse for specifying the color

Can you confirm the bug exists with other themes?

Can you also test if dumping http://gitweb.mageia.org/software/drakx/plain/perl-install/share/themes-galaxy.rc?id=e1ecdac525d20120a4e67fa6ee5b6d0362922f45 into /usr/share/libDrakX/themes-galaxy.rc fixes the issue?

That fixes my problem. Text left side of mcc is now white.

I'd though about keeping mygtk2.pm & ugtk2.pm modules for apps not yet ported to gtk3 but I'dn't thought about their support files :-(
I'll push the fix tonight

Yes please, it's a different issue (CSS for gtk3)
