Description Joseph Wang 2013-11-18 12:48:10 CET
Description of problem:

After I install mageia 4 on my Aspire V5-573P, and reboot everything goes black. This seems to be the result of a well known issue with laptops that is explained here....

http://people.skolelinux.org/pere/blog/Fixing_the_Linux_black_screen_of_death_on_machines_with_Intel_HD_video.html

I'll try to use different boot up flags to see what is the set that allows everything to work fine.
