To whoever this is assigned Having seen this bug for other iso/media you might want to take a look at https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8830#c3 to auto-detect over sized iso images.

qa-bugs, tmb Current KDE LiveDVD are 1.7 GB, so I don't think that fitting them on 1.4 GB DVDs is supported.
