Description claire robinson 2013-11-11 10:29:06 CET
4beta1 Gnome LiveCD (5th/6th build Nov 10/11)

The new safe boot option creates a display which is too large. The monitor shows an 'Out of Range' error and the gnome desktop is off screen on the left hand side.

It looks to be a high resolution. Gnome settings shows the display as Unknown:0"

This could possibly cause damage to monitors.
Comment 2 Manuel Hiebel 2013-11-11 21:42:31 CET
the grub option is
vga=normal xdriver=vesa for the safe boot and
vga=788 for the other

do users really need this entry ?
Comment 3 Manuel Hiebel 2013-11-19 00:10:33 CET
"- I've dropped the "vga=normal" from the safe mode entry so
  it should hopefully behave better. "

in last build, if you remember :)

I'll check with beta 2 before closing.
