Comment 1 Philippe Makowski 2013-10-19 12:29:07 CEST
looking at twixer code I see that it need tweethon, but tweethon is a fork of python-twitter !
python-twitter is maintained upstream whereas tweethon is not since 2009-09-30
and python-twitter don't use python-oauth2 anymore
Comment 2 Philippe Makowski 2013-10-19 14:48:15 CEST
I suggest to obsolete it (as tweethon, that by the way don't follow the Python policy) and provide twidge for example https://github.com/jgoerzen/twidge/wiki
twidge is maintain, packaged by Debian and working with last twitter API.
Comment 3 Alfonso Vera 2013-10-19 17:25:38 CEST
I've written to twixser developer. I don't have reply.
I don't know python to repair the problem
I'm preparing other twitter command line client for mga4.
