Description of problem:
Tried to install the latest alpha 3 of cauldron. Wh I get to the pick a language
the system freezes up. I have to turn off the power.

Could you provide the file /root/drakx/report.bug.gz as an attachment ?
If you don't have the file, you can switch to console 2 (by pressing 'Ctrl-Alt-F2') during installation, put a floppy in floppy drive or plug a USB key/stick and type: 'bug' then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the floppy/key.

No luck. tried it on 3 different systems. All lock as tight as a drum.
No combination of keys work. No way to get a bug report.

Please run the install up until just before the point where
it freezes, and the use the bug command to create the report.

While it won't show what's happening when the system freezes,
it will produce a report showing which hardware, modules,
and packages are involved.

No Go! tried at lest 3 time on the 3 PC's No bug report anywhere I can find.

Also note that when I tryied to use text only mode I get the GUI evey time.

Out of luck: too little info, info cannot be given: deadlock.

We must assume current installer behaves better, as we did not see the same yet with later versions.

If seen, please reopen and adjust header fields accordingly. Thanks.
