Description Bertrand Marne 2013-09-09 16:38:22 CEST
Hi,

I'm running mga 3 on an x86 machine and using the last included php.

With php-mysql-5.4.19-1.1.mga3.x86_64 and php-mysqli-5.4.19-1.1.mga3.x86_64, php-mysqlnd 5.4.19 (x86) is already installed as a dependency.

I'm trying to install php-pdo_mysql-5.4.17-1.1 and it is not working. It won't work because an urpmq --requires php-pdo_mysql-5.4.17-1.1.mga3.x86_6 return:

php-pdo[>= 3:5.4.17]
lib64php5_common5[>= 3:5.4.17]
php-mysqlnd[== 3:5.4.17]
libc.so.6()(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2.5)(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3.4)(64bit)
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4)(64bit)

As you can see, php-mysqlnd[== 3:5.4.17] cannot be satisfied !

You should install php-pdo_mysql-5.4.19-1.1.mga3 and *not* php-pdo_mysql-5.4.17-1.1.

Is there a reason you want to install the older php-pdo_mysql-5.4.17-1.1 package?
Comment 2 Bertrand Marne 2013-10-07 10:21:57 CEST
At the time php-pdo_mysql-5.4.19-1.1.mga3 was not available (only php-pdo_mysql-5.4.17-1.1). It is now available, thereby I closed the bug.
