Description David Walser 2013-09-07 07:08:27 CEST
In tty2 I ran drakx11, choose the graphics card, hit OK, then it did a pop-up saying a proprietary driver was available (nvidia304) and did I want to install it, so I said yes. It installed the packages, and the urpmi output was visible at the bottom of the screen. Immediately upon urpmi finishing installing the packages, a bunch of perl error messages went all over the screen as drakx11 had crashed. I think I remember it saying something about the screen size. The terminal was messed up (hard returns only did line feeds and not carriage returns) after the crash, but the reset command fixed that. Then I ran drakx11 again, and it was able to complete its configuration operations successfully.
