4alpha3 4alpha2 Hi there, I can confirm this, but this is not an issue with windowmaker, this may be an issue with LXDM which is not closing out the X session once the window manager has exited. It happens with others windowmanager as well, such as fvwm2 etc... If you let any xterm open for instance, exit the windowmanager, the X is not restarted and these processes are still running in the background. If you login again, even into another windowmanager (like you did with LXDE), you will recover these xterms and others. I guess this is not the wanted behaviour of LXDM and it may be a LXDM bug (I see my venerable master is in CC, could you confirm Oliver?). In the meanwhile, a solution is to hit CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE which restarts the X server under LXDM, that will kill all these applications. Cheers, chris. Is this bug still present in recent LXDM?
