Description Georges Eckenschwiller 2013-09-06 10:42:44 CEST
Mageia 3 is starting to migrate to GStreamer 1.0, and Radio Tray can't be left behind. Also, by doing this, it can benefit from the improvements in the latest GStreamer.

I'm sorry to say this, but as we don't develop radiotray, this is wrong place to report feature requests.

As gstreamer0.10 is parallel installable and working with new gstreamer1.0 plus we haven't decided to phase out gstreamer0.10 yet, I see no reason to dedicate much efforts to port radiotray to gstreamer1.0 by ourselves. Also, this is way too late for mga3. I'm not going to add new features to pkgs in stable release. (Note that all this can still happen in mga4 as we're not close to final release yet).

There's still hope as this feature request is already reported to upstream. It might be implemented anytime soon. Hopefully it's done before mga4.

BTW, I'm closing this as INVALID.

P.S. I'm monitoring new radiotray releases regularly and will update it for Cauldron after the new version is released. I might also add some patches from upstream before it.
