I have Mageia 3 installed on my two computers, and once configured and customized, I disabled the startup services do not need, and the system takes to start in about 1 minute after I press the start button until the desktop appears, from by the login. The more I suffer startup delay after login to the desktop, and can be loaded by KDE

It would be possible to correct this in Mageia 3, or on the contrary, I propose as an upgrade to the next version Mageia 4.

Equipment:

Desktop: Intel Core Duo, 4 GB of RAM, 500 GB SATA hard disk into two disks 250 each and Nvidia GeForce GT 440 1GB.

Netbook: Intel Atom 450, 2GB ram extended, 320 GB SATA hard drive and Intel GMA 3150 graphics.

maybe you could test kde 4.10.4 from updates_testing ?

Por el momento y después de actualizar a Mageia 4 parece que los equipos tienen menor tiempo de arranque (aunque se puede mejorar). Doy por cerrado este bug.
